Del-Val 320
Silicone Roof Coating
Description
Del-Val 320 Silicone Roof Coating is a one-part, 100% silicone elastomeric coating specifically designed for use in roofing applications. Once cured, this liquid applied silicone coating provides a durable, seamless, flexible, waterproof membrane that resists lateral movement, shear and will allow for normal expansion and contraction. Del-Val 320 Silicone Roof Coating provides greater UV protection than similar coatings and offers increased resistance to moisture penetration. Del-Val 320 provides excellent long term protection through exceptional weatherability properties.
Provides a barrier at seams, pipe boots, curbs, flashings, penetrations and exposed fasteners.

Uses
Del-Val 320 was specifically developed as a protective coating for single-ply membranes, granulated modified bitumen, metal and sprayed-in-place polyurethane foam roofing. Del-Val 320 is also used as a top coat over moisture cure polyurethane in membrane restorations. With excellent adhesion to all substrates and exceptional durability, Del-Val 320 is proven to provide excellent solar reflectivity, UV protection and long term waterproofing performance.Preparation
Surface must be clean and free of dirt, dust, oil or grease and be free of any other foreign matter that would interfere with good adhesion. In colder climates we recommend storing the product at room temperature for 24 hours prior to application.Application
Del-Val 320 Silicone Roof Coating may be applied by medium nap rollers, soft brushes or conventional airless spray equipment. Apply Del-Val 320 only to clean, dry, sound surfaces free of loose particles or other foreign matter. For best results, ambient temperature should be between 50-80°F. Higher temperatures will shorten the cure time and working time. Lower temperatures will lengthen the skin over, tack free and ultimate cure time. Sudden temperature declines may also result in dew formation on surfaces, which can prevent adhesion development. For best results, relative humidity should be above 20%. Lower humidity will slow the cure time significantly.Coverage & Drying Time
Apply Del-Val 320 at a rate of 1.5 gallons per 100 square feet per gallon per coat, according to the substrate and condition. A minimum of 25 mils DFT is recommended. Armour Proof AP-5100 Moisture Cure Polyurethane may be applied as a Primer/Base Coat at a rate of 1.25 gallons per 100 square feet, and then coated with the Del-Val 320 Low Solids Silicone Roof Coating. Skin-Over in 30 minutes, Tack Free in 2 hours, Dry to touch in 6 hours.Limitations & Precautions
